The Baldwin Pops is proud to announce publication of our award-winning cookbook, “Picnic with the Baldwin Pops.” Our full color cookbook is designed around our popular Sunset Concert Series and features ten famous pieces of music, accompanied by full-themed picnic menus. To support Baldwin County farmers and fishermen and to promote our Eastern Shore lifestyle, recipes emphasize fresh, local ingredients. The book is large format, 8.5 x 11, with easy-to-read print.

The book is packed with original color artwork, drawn by the Pops’ own Anne Brooks. The cover art is designed to resemble a checkered tablecloth and each menu title page features a unique illustration representing the menu’s music theme, beautifully designed to appear like an antique sheet music cover. Selected menu title pages will be sold separately as prints.

What makes this cookbook special? You’ll find treasured family recipes, tested and loved over time. Cook’s Corner segments offer the wisdom of Eastern Shore cooks and each recipe is written with clear and complete directions, suitable even for beginners. To further tempt you, we have included on this page a sample menu and recipe from the cookbook.

The volunteer musicians of the Pops take pleasure in offering free and entertaining music in concert settings for your whole family to enjoy. At the same time, our operating expenses continue to rise. Instead of asking you for money, we prefer to provide you with something you can use and value for years to come and give as gifts to family and friends.

Feel free to copy our cookbook and poster order form; use one set for yourself and pass another on to a friend. We invite you to distribute order forms at group gatherings, such as club meetings.
