Board of Directors

Our Band is a non-profit organization governed by a Constitution and By-Laws. The following section details the role of the Board of Directors.

The Board of Directors of the Baldwin Pops shall consist of seven Officers. The Officers shall be a President, a President-elect, a Past President, and four Members-at-Large, and all Officers shall be members of the Band. The term of membership shall be as follows: the President shall serve one year in each of the offices of President (President-elect, President and Past President); the Members-at-Large shall serve for two years. No member of the Board shall serve more then two successive terms. At the first regular meeting each year of the Board of Directors, the Board shall appoint a Treasurer and a Secretary who shall serve for a term of one year with no restrictions on successive terms. Five Board members present at a meeting shall constitute a quorum. Each member of the Board shall have one vote and a simple majority vote shall be necessary to conduct business. The Music Director and Executive Director shall serve as ex-officio members of the Board of Directors, without voting privilege.

    Is an organization of volunteer musicians from Baldwin and surrounding Counties.
    We are committed to enhancing the cultural environment of the area by providing free concerts to the public.
    Members come from all walks of life. A common thread for all of us is our love of music, the desire to perform and the ability to play.
